It is time for our American Legion Posts with a Post Home to call on their legislators to move the “Veterans Organizations Property Tax Exemption” bill out of the Taxation Committees. Both SF259 and HF182 have been in the Senate Taxes Committee and the House Property Tax Division since 21 January 2021. Posts need call now to have this bill heard in their committees and keep this bill moving. These two bills will provide the much needed property tax relief to our Posts with homes.
