Area lodging:

Bloomington has more hotels than any other city in Minnesota. We can’t list them all. However, here are three the Legion tends to use in recent years:

Embassy Suites by Hilton Bloomington/Minneapolis, 2800 American Blvd. W., 952-967-8700 (This is where the national commander stays when he is in the metro. It is has a relaxing bar and is next door to Cowboy Jack’s.)

Holiday Inn Bloomington Airport South, 1201 W. 94th St., 952-884-8211 (This is right along I-35 and is where the 5th District has conventions sometimes. It is attached to a Green Mill Restaurant.)

Holiday Inn & Suites Mall of America, 7801 12th Ave. S., 952-213-3150 (This is convenient to reach MOA. It is where Legion Baseball teams stay when they play at state tournaments in Bloomington. Outback Steakhouse is next door.)
