New Prague American Legion to host third annual Music Fest

Proceeds benefit New Prague Veterans Memorial

NEW PRAGUE — New Prague American Legion Post 45 and the New Prague Veterans Memorial Committee will host a special day of music on Saturday, Feb. 22, at the New Prague American Legion Park Ballroom.

Eight regional bands will perform between 1 p.m. and 9 p.m., and guests can also enjoy food, refreshments, door prizes and a silent auction. Proceeds will benefit the construction of the New Prague Area Veterans Memorial, scheduled to break ground later in 2020.

“This is the third time that our community has come together to raise funds for the memorial,” said Linda Dvorak, the 3rd District commander for The American Legion Department of Minnesota. “Music Fest is a fun way for people to be a part of creating a legacy that will honor our area veterans for generations to come.”

Members of the public are invited. Proceeds will benefit the New Prague Veterans Memorial.

When:  Saturday, Feb. 22 from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Cost:  $10 presale and $15 at the door, kids 12 and under are free
