Legionville School Safety Patrol Training Center

In 2011, Legionville had to say good-bye to an icon of our camp, the Barn. Over the years, the structure had become unsafe and in the spring of 2011, it was demolished. This left the camp with no central meeting and classroom building for the campers and staff to use. For 2 summers we have rented modular classroom and office space, but the need for a larger facility where all campers can meet for functions was needed.

After 2 years of work and planning, the Legionville Board of Directors and the building committee have broken ground for the new facility. They have sold 50 acres of land to help raise a portion of the funds for a new facility.

The new facility will house not only a central meeting room, but office space, classrooms, storage, and nurse's office. When completed, it will also serve as a year round center for additional programs at Legionville.

The sale of the land will only get us part way to our goal. The rest is up to you. Commander Don Pankake has made the new education facility at Legionville his project for this year. Please join the Commander in supporting this wonderful project for the youth of our state.

Legionville School Safety Patrol Camp is a 501(c)3 corporation so all donations are tax deductable.
